Basics Of Mitten Siding

This Ontario Canada based company has been around since 1959 and employs some 300 people. They started out as a plastic extruder (creating plastic molds for different applications) and gradually grew the company – today they run two large manufacturing plants. Within the United States, the company markets their products through wholesalers and builders, similarly to many other large manufacturers. They sell roughly half of their siding within the U.S. and the other half in Canada (10% is sold in Europe). The companiy specializes in vinyl siding, offering 12 product lines with a variety of price points and styles to choose from.

Fortress

Description: The Fortress line is a premium product that offers 16′ storm panels, significantly longer than industry standard 12′ panels. This product has a windload resistance up to 200 mph and is intended for homes that are subject to hurricanes and stormy weather such as alogn the East Coast.
